SPOONFUL - Buffalo Wild Wings

Brgy. Kapitolyo in Pasig is known for is rows of restaurants; Most of it are home businesses or have been put up solely by its owners. However, the opening of Capitol Commons and Estancia Mall has paved way for big names in the restaurant business to be present in the zone.

Buffalo Wild Wings is an American casual dining restaurant and sports bar that specializes in chicken wings and sauces. It is franchised here in the Philippines as well as in U.S., Canada, and Mexico. 

                                        

So a few days ago, I went with my friends to Buffalo Wild Wings in Estancia Mall in Capitol Commons. We tried some of their burgers and platter and here is how it went down:

Screamin' Nacho Burger

Two grilled Slammer patties Chipotle BBQ seasoning, corn tortilla chips, pepper jack cheese, jalapenos, pico de gallo, and a drizzle of south western ranch dressing

Juicy Steak Burger

A grilled burger patty with a pile of jukcy prime rib, fried onion rings, pepperjack cheese and your choice of Buffalo Wild Wings sauce

Big Jack Daddy Burger

Hickory-smoked pulled pork, fried onion rings, cheddar cheese and their signature Honey BBQ sauce on a mouth watering burger.

Tablegating Sampler

Soft pretzel, cheese sauce, Buffalo wings with your own choice of sauce, warm pita chips with spinach and artichoke dip and bacon, cheddar and mozzarella stuffed jalapeno pepper bites.

The burgers were ver juicy. Perfectly grilled but still very juicy and flavorful. The bread could be a little bit better. It got a bit soggy after a few bites. A denser bread could have hold the sauce and the juices of the burger longer; or less sauce perhaps. 

The sampler was too much for three persons. We didn't get to enjoy the pretzels much since we were so full from the burgers. The jalapeno bites were delicious. A bit spicy for me ( but I have a low tolerance for spicy food) the spinach-artichoke dip was spot on. It was creamy and delicious. The chicken wings were great. Juicy, moist and flavorful. One of the best chicken wings I have ever tasted.

Prices were a bit steep but the service and the place was quite good. A bit noisy because it's a sports bar but I'd recommend this place for those who'd like to hangout and watch basketball games and eat or have a fun night with friends.
