But of course more than the awards what people are more curious about is what the celebrties will wear especially this year. As the Grammys are dubbed the most outrageous red carpet of all awards night shows, CBS has issued a memo regarding appropriate dress code. Well, some celebrities followed while some just are rebellious and had to disobey. Scroll down below to see what your favorite musicians were wearing on the red carpet.

Rihanna looked stunning in her custom made Azzedine Alaia sheer dress.

Justin Timberlake looked like a million bucks in his suit by Tom Ford. He'll be back on the music scene with a concert right after the show at the Hollywood Palladium.

Chris Brown dons a white suit at the red carpet

Katy Perry wears a fitting mint green gown by Gucci that just violates CBS's memo in all levels.

Whiz Khalifa with a very pregnant Amber Rose who is due to give birth in a few weeks.

Estelle wearing a printed gown by Genelle Brooks x Love Collins dress

Gotye wearing a Jack London suit with Kimbra wearing a Jaime Lee Major dress

Jennifer Lopez revealing her leg in an Anthony Vaccarello gown and Tom Ford sandals.

Mumford and Sons at the red carpet who won album of the year.

Adele wearing a floral red Valentino dress at the awards show and she won as Best Pop Solo Performance for Set Fire to The Rain.

Alicia Keys, wearing Azzedine Alaia, posing with Swizz Beatz.

Beyonce wearing an Osman jumpsuit and Lorraine Schwartz jewelry.

Faith Hill wearing a black J. Mendel dress

Florence Welch of Florence and the Machines kinda looks like poison ivy in her metallic green Givenchy ensemble.

Carrie Underwood in a black Roberto Cavalli dress.

Jack White as he arrived at the red carpet of the Grammys.

Nicole Kidman wearing  Vera Wang

Janelle Monae looking like a magician at the awards night.

John Mayer looking good in his blue velvet suit.

Kelly Rowland wearing a sheer dress by Georges Chakra

Miranda Lambert wearing Roberto Cavalli perforrmed onstage with Dierks Bentley.

Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters with his wife Jordyn Blume

Kat Dennings wearing a snakeskin dress looking very pretty.

Drake whose album Take Care won Best Rap Album

More than the winners and the fashion, much awaited are the performances of this year's show. Much talked about is Justin Timberlake's performance because this is the artist's comeback to music after doing movies for a long time.

Another notable performance is the collaboration between Maroon 5 and Alicia Keys who mashed up Daylight and Girl on Fire

Frank Ocean also made his debut at the Grammys with his performance of Forest Gump

Also Ed Sheeran made a notable performance of his song A Team with Sir Elton John

But one of the most memorable performance was Bruno Mars, Sting, and Rihanna's tribute to reggae legend Bob Marley

The Grammy Awards is really music's biggest night. It's like a big concert slash awards night so I bet it's way more fun than other awards show. I just wish they feature more new artists and that the pre-show is also televised. Anyway, congratulations to all the winners. Please make more good music!
