MUSIC SHEETS - And The Grammy Goes To (A Grammy 2015 Recap)
The Grammy Awards happened a few hours ago and here is a quick recap of what went down:
AC/DC opened the show with a wicked medley of their hits. Frontman Brian Johnson lead the band in a stellar performance of their single Rock or Bust.
The crown went wild as the intro for Highway to Hell plays and the audience were sporting glowing horn headbands.
Ariana Grande performs Just a Little Bit of Your Heart
Jessie J performed You've Lost that Loving Feeling with Tom Jones
Pharell Williams won Best Pop Solo Performance for Happy
The singer-songwriter-producer also performed a darker and edgier version of the said song
Kanye West is back at the Grammy stage performing his song Only One dedicated to daughter North West
The Queen of Pop Madonna also is back at the Grammy stage and performed her newly released single Living for Love in a matador costume complete with bull horned dancers
Solo artist Beck won Best Rock Album but the biggest surprise that Beck has on his sleeve is when he beat everyone by winning Album of the Year!
Kanye (in a total dick move) did a "Kanye" by trying to storm the stage when Beck won Album of the Year.
Beyonce won Best RnB Performance.While Ed Sheeran performed Thinking Out Loud with John Mayer.
The Voice coaches, Adam Levine and Gwen Stefani also performed last night.
Katy Perry perfomed her single By The Grace of God wearing a white dress and dedicating her performance to victims of domestic violence.
Tony Bennet and Lady Gaga performed their hit song Cheek to Cheek
Rihanna performed her song 4,5 Seconds with Sir Paul Mcartney and Kanye West
Sia performed her smash hit Chandelier with a special guest dancer, SNL actress Kristin Wiig.
But the biggest wiiner of the night was Sam Smith. Sam performed his hit song Stay With Me together with no other than Mary J. Blige. Sam Smith also won 4 Grammys that night including: Song of the Year, Record of the Year, Best New Artist and Best Pop Vocal Album
Smith, even thanked his ex- boyfriend saying "Thank you so much for breaking my heart because you got me 4 Grammys."
