SPOONFUL - Organic Treats at The Dining Room

After that wonderful tour of Gourmet Farms, we headed on to lunch at The Dining Room. The Dining Room is the farm's restaurant where they served dishes using their fresh produce.

The Dining Room has a salad bar which of course uses local and fresh ingredients.
They also had prepared salads such as these herbed mushrooms;
Beets salad;
Potato salad;
and Roasted Zucchini

We were also served Cream of Pumpkin Soup.

 Some of The Dining Room's best sellers are these Greek Nachos which uses their lettuce chips. The blend of salsa and Tzatziki sauce and salsa compliments the tasty lettuce chips.

The lamb stew was so tasty and so tender. It goes perfectly well with the couscous.

The Beef pot roast and mashed potatoes was so flavorful. It was smothered with gravy and meat was tender and it melts in your mouth.

One of the best dishes served to us. The grilled tuna with marble potatoes and chimichuri sauce. The tuna was perfectly cooked; moist and juicy inside but perfectly grilled on the outside

The baked salmon was so flavorful. The tomato sauce goes perfectly well with the strong flavors of the fish.

We were also served some Pasta Al Funghi. It was creamy and delicious. But the best part about this dish was the bread that came with it. It was freshly baked and it was tender and fluffy but the crust was crispy.

Gourmet Farm's signature pizza. It was the perfect blend of shrimp, zucchini, prosciutto on a freshly baked thin crust pizza.

We were also served Banaba iced tea. Banaba is an herbal medicine that helps cure diabetes and kidney inflammation. It can also help in weight-loss and is also a metabolic enhancer. But for that meal, it was a refreshing drink perfect for a hot day.

They also served us one of their signature desserts, the espresso panna cotta. It was creamy and light  and the espresso syrup gives it a jolt that elevates the flavor of the panna cotta.

I ended up being so full, I had to loosen my belt to breathe. Haha. But I didn't mind because everything was delicious. It was the perfect ending to a great tour.
