Last week, I was invited to experience this global gastronomic tour and boy was it an experience! It was really like taking a trip around the world with the various buffet stations which , by the way, are all delicious and mouth watering!

They have an assortment of greens at their salad bar and prepared salads as well

They have various terrines and aspic jellies...

As well as fresh crustaceans, and mollusks

They also have appetizers and hors' d'ouevres such as this salmon and braised red cabbage,

cauliflower panna cotta,
and scallop salad with edible flowers and strawberry vinaigrette

They also have an assortment of breads and rolls

Their stations are grouped by country. The Filipino buffet station has Sinigang na Tadyang, Kalderetang Kambing and Lapu-lapu among its dishes.

Probably one of the best sinigangs I've tasted. It was so creamy because of the gabi and the meat was so tender.

They also have a Chinese and Dimsum section

And a Japanese section where you can get get hot of the fryer tempura. Yum!

They also have a Korean Section that has a wide array of korean side dishes as well as traditional dishes like Bulgogi and Jeyook

Their Halal section is one of my favorites! I was floored by their Lamb Roganjosh and partnered with the freshly made chapati, I was sold!

Another one of my favorite stations was the Thai food, the curried prawns and shrimp spring roll was the best!

The carving station couldn't have been more any better.

The dessert station is a sight to behold! It is literally a feast of almost all types of pastries and desserts

I had the grandest time dining at Cafe Ilang Ilang. It was an exhilirating feeling; to travel across the globe with food. Thank you Cafe Ilang Ilang and Manila Hotel for this wonderful experience :)
